Ästhetiker Jam Wängl Tängl Eventhall 2011
For the 10-Year Anniversary of the Vans Wängl Tängl, we are opening the Skateboard event to more crews. The obstacle is currently in the making so we will be able to reveal this soon but the word is once again Transition! The contest format remains the same as in previous years with the exception of having even more crews of 2 riders on a Skateboard battle for €10.000.
It’s never been easier to enter the comp. All you need is a friend – preferably someone you can skate with! You then need to hit us up on the old Facebook (see info below) to get your crew registered. Once you have been confirmed to ride all you need to do is show up on the day pay the €20 entry fee per rider straight at the contest.
And this is how it will work:
You and your mate (a Team = 2 people only) will have 4 minutes to show the judges your tranny skills, express your creativity & highlight your style…. Ride to impress!
The 6 best teams from the Quali round will get the privilege to compete against the 10 invited teams consisting of some of the best European Transition Skaters, past winners and finalists of the 10 last Wängl-Tängl Skate jams!
Unique to the Vans Wängl Tängl is the ‘Team Format Judging System’ that evaluates all crews in a single run as well as during a battle with another crew. It’s the way we go…because we believe Skate & Snow are sports which are funnier when having a laugh and doing in a group!
And please don’t be shy! Get your matching outfits on – crew shirts or hats are great, work on double lines & tricks, get stuck in and air over your mate when he’s grinding the coping – get the idea?
16 teams in total will compete for the €10,000 prize purse plus a best trick contest and the infamous cash-for-tricks session.
If you think you have what it takes, inscribe your crew now at www.wangltangl.com.
See you at the Vans Wängl Tängl 10thAnniversary – a week long Contest-ival of Snow, Skate, Music, Crews and Art!
